Getting Started Online Affiliate Programs

Now, don't be frightened if it looks like there are a lot of programs on this page. Actually, there are not that many programs. I have just listed all the resources, so you'd know which resources belonged to which programs. In actuality, there are only 42 programs you will be signing up for, and although this might sound like a lot, it's really not. Not for all the quality products you are now - or at least you will shortly be - part owner of.  Remember, this is your business and you are out to build it in the best way possible with the best resources possible. 

Also, bear in mind that our "Getting Started" ePortfolio is but the first of 12 dedicated to making your entrepreneurial dreams come true. If you intend to go through these courses in order, you will find that you actually need to join fewer and fewer programs as we move along. As much as possible in this series, I have tried to make use of exceptional programs with many different products. This way, you only have to join the programs once, for one or more products in one particular document, and you will automatically have links for other products and services in many of our other portfolios!

Please note: The "Click here to learn all the details and sign up now" links will either bring you directly to an affiliate sign up page OR to the home page for the program. If it brings you to the home page, simply look for the link for their "Affiliate," "Associate," "Partner" or "Reseller" program. You will usually find it at the top or bottom of the page, or in the left or right hand navigation columns.

Once you find the link, click it; sign up should take you about 2 minutes. If you have trouble finding links for any of the programs, you can always dash off a quick email to website owners asking them for info on their affiliate programs. But I don't think you'll run into this problem because I have tried to provide a direct link to any programs that you might have the slightest difficulty accessing:-)

For the following books you will need to have a ClickBank account and nickname. Registering is a breeze. Just like signing up for any other affiliate program - and I have to say that ClickBank has been, by far, my best money making affiliate vendor, so this one is a must for anyone serious about making any kind of income online.

Here's the link to access ClickBank's sign-up page.

Once you have your Clickbank identity or nickname, you're ready to roll for MOST of the products and programs listed below. However, some webmasters prefer for you to visit their websites and sign up with them, so that they can keep in touch with their affiliates as well. With some programs this is particularly important, because their links won't work unless you do so. So, if there is a red asterisk * following a program name, you need to visit the website and sign up as well (just click the product link and look for "affiliate program" links on the homepage). For the rest, you can just let the eBrander do it's thing - plug in your ID - when you get your books.

Much as I admire Jim Daniel's work, his requirement that you must purchase his products to become an affiliate for them poses a bit of a problem. I can definitely see the merit in limiting your programs to affiliates who are actually willing to plunk their money down and become familiar with what they are selling, so I can't quibble with his reasoning, but neither can I tell you to go ahead and pay just to join the programs.
