Download Your
FREE WSM Business Building PPPs Here
All of our portfolios are in PDF
format, which
means they are universally readable, provided you have Acrobat
reader installed on your computer. If you haven't
updated to at least version 5.0, you can click
here to get it, just make sure you download the version
you need for your computer (PC, Mac, Linux, etc.). Don't
worry, it's FREE.
Also, all of our portfolios come
in zipped files to speed their download time, so the first
thing you should do before you proceed is to download the
tool you will need to unzip our books (these really are "must have"
FREE utilities on any internet user's desktop
nowadays anyway.)
Once you're all set with the above, all you need to do is left
click on either the portfolio title links below or
the book covers themselves and your downloads
will begin.
You will be
brought to a "File Download" box that asks you what you would like to
do with this file.
The "Save
the program to disk" option is already selected, and this is the option
you want to select (unless you want to just view the portfolio from its current
location and not download it to your own PC to view at your leisure.) To proceed from
the download just click "OK" at the bottom of this box.
This will bring
you to a "Save As" box that will ask you where you want to save the
portfolio.
Your Desktop
(desktop icon on navigation bar) is probably the best choice
so that the portfolio(s) will be easily accessible. If you want
to stick with this default selection, simply click
"Save" and the download will proceed.
(To select an
option other than the one displayed in the "Save
As" box, click on the folder to the right of the box
and it will display a number of alternate locations.
Double-click on the icon location of your choice - make a
note of it - and proceed with the download by clicking
"Save.")
The downloads could take anywhere from a minute to several
minutes depending on how you are connected to the Internet, but if you want to
move on to other online activities while a file is downloading you can
simply minimize it by clicking the (-) icon on the file toolbar.
That's all there is to it!!
Have fun and enjoy your FREE PPPs! (Remember
our motto: "First you LEARN from them, then you EARN
from them!")
If you want to go the
speed preview route, simply right click on any or all the links below
and proceed to download the documents you want in pdf format. (You'll
want to choose "Save Target As" in the menu that opens up in
Internet Explorer or "Save Link As" in Netscape.)

Troubleshooting
Possible PDF Problems
If a PDF comes up blank or complains of font mapping errors, it means your copy of Acrobat Reader is too old. Download the latest version of Acrobat Reader using the link above.
If you tried opening the file in Acrobat version 3.0 or 4.0, it probably got tagged as a 3.0 file. Be sure you are opening the file in version 5.0 or higher, try dragging the PDF file to the Acrobat 5.0 icon. Delete Acrobat 3.0 off your hard drive and reboot the computer. Try downloading the PDF file again.
You should print all our documents as grey scale or color, instead of black and white.
If you print black and white, all the printed images will appear high contrast and all light colors will not print at all.
Additionally, when trying to print PDF files, some printer drivers create huge cache files. In this case, your hard drive or printer may not have enough memory to print the job. Try printing a range of pages, say 2 or 3 at a time, instead of trying to print the whole
e-book all at once.
If a PDF file asks for a password, it usually means you are trying to open the file in Acrobat Exchange - the Acrobat editor program. Be sure you are opening the PDF file with Acrobat READER software.
Blank Web Pages:
Blank pages on the internet are usually caused by firewalls and misbehaved proxy servers (including AOL), that may be caching an old page.
Try clearing the cache on your browser. On some systems you may even have to reboot. If you are behind a firewall or proxy server, try going around it, shutting it off, or using a different dial up account while accessing my site. Please contact your system administrator or internet service provider for more information on how to do that.
Even personal firewalls like Atguard and Norton can cause major problems. It defaults to blocking any domain that ends in -marketing.com. The solution is to shut off your personal firewall and refresh your cache. The pages should appear as normal.
If a PDF file gives an error message that it is corrupt or damaged when trying to open it, it usually means the file was damaged during
a download. Delete the damaged copy and try downloading the file again.
(This applies more to our shorter, Affiliate Program
Portfolio files, which you download directly.)
